Cons

  • Limited applications.
  • Very short money-back guarantee period.
  • Difficult to set up e-commerce store.
  • No phone customer service.
  • No VPS or dedicated hosting.

Pricing

One.com offers only one shared hosting plan, which includes the website builder, one-step WordPress blogging, email, and a few other tools. There is no VPS or dedicated hosting services available.

Pricing depends entirely on storage space, ranging from 15GB ($1.89 per month) to 2TB ($180 per month). I looked at the entry level 15GB tier, which costs $1.89 per month or $22.68 per year. A special promotion waived that cost, as well as the cost for registering a new .com domain ($13.80 per year). For the first year, One.com charged just the $13.80 setup fee. If I hadn’t had the promotion, the basic plan would have come out to $50.28 for the first year. There is no setup fee in later years, dropping the price tag to $36.48 per year, or $3.04 per month.

Template Monster Review

Template Monster is the largest, most comprehensive website template service on the Internet. Template Monster continues to add more high quality templates, keep up with technology and popular platforms and they provide great customer service.

Currently Template Monster offers more than 20,000 templates in many popular formats, such as CSS with flash, HTML, dynamic sites for compatibility with a variety of screen types and even many in PSD format. In addition, they now offer turnkey websites, which are fully supported and hosted, the perfect solution for small businesses or organizations.

Types of Paid Templates

Basic Templates

It should be noted very quickly that while the customization services mainly deal with WordPress sites (which are really popular these days), TemplateMonster offers a plethora of additional template types including HTML5, Flash, photo gallery templates, SwiSH templates, and PSD templates

Facebook Templates

The last kind of template to keep in mind is the Facebook template. This is a great option for branding your Facebook page. It’s ideal for those who want to build traffic to their online store by establishing a firm presence in major social networks like Facebook.

Corporate Templates

These templates differ from the other ones. They cater to specific corporate needs. You can order corporate powerpoint presentations, logos and full identity packages with letterheads and business cards.

CMS/Blog Templates

These templates rely on technologies in WordPress, Joomal and Drupal to provide you with an easy-to-manage platform that can be used to add more content. It’s great for building content systems, i.e., websites that regularly put out content in the form of articles, press releases and/or blogposts.

eCommerce Templates

These types of templates are considerably more complicated. They upgrade from simple HTML pages and Flash designs by incorporating high-quality e-commerce technologies like Magento, VirtueMart, PrestaShop, Zen Cart and more. They in effect let you build full-fledged e-commerce platforms that you can then use to sell products to the general public.

Free Templates

It should be noted that TemplateMonster also offers a few free templates. We do not recommend using these, because they are really simple and offer few customization options. They are not bad for getting a taste of how the templates work, but if you want to build a legitimate website, then we definitely recommend you invest in a paid template.

Pricing

Through Template Monster you can buy templates individually with a limited use license or you can purchase it as unique and Template Monster will stop selling that template to help ensure that your site appears fresh and distinctive. Template Monster does not offer a membership package; however, most of their sites are available for well under $100.

Royalty-free templates range from about $50 -$150 and can easily be sorted by type and category. Once you have bought a template you can customize it as many times as needed to create content pages for your website. Template Monster offers both unique rights and custom services.

Summary

Template Monster really is the best of the best, and they just keep getting better. They offer more templates than anyone else, keep on top of technology and provide great support and service. If you are a small company or organization without a webmaster, they offer great complete solutions or if you are a designer, they provide high quality templates that will definitely help you keep your clients coming back to you for more. Everyone wins with Template Monster.

GraphicRiver Review

GraphicRiver is a digital marketplace where people can go to sell stock images, logos, and designs that they have created as a hobby, as a means of promoting themselves, or even as a way to earn a full time income.

GraphicRiver is a subsidiary of Envato, who claims their mission is to help people “earn and learn online.” They operate marketplaces where “hundreds of thousands” of people buy and sell digital goods every day, as well as a network of educational blogs which help people learn creative skills.

Envato says that the top authors on their marketplaces can earn between $20,000 and $50,000 per month selling their stock image, and it is free to create an account on any of their websites.

How to Upload content on GraphicRiver?

First, you need to create an Envato account(this works for all marketplace) by simply signing up. Then, there is a MCQ based test one needs to pass in order to publish their content. This is related to the Rules and Conditions of the Marketplace and is pretty easy(yes! you can guess all of the answers).

You can then upload content to your portfolio. This item can be a kick ass logo,  a psd party flyer, a tee shirt design, a mock up template etc. Either through FTP or their uploader, you can put up your files to the marketplace.

You then have to wait for a reviewer to review you design and if he/she approves your idea, the item gets published and you are notified via email. Normally this takes up to 7 days though there is no guarantee. Also, the price of your item is set according to the marketplace rates.

How to withdraw money?

As soon as someone buys your item, the respective amount is added to your account balance. Envato provides three methods of  withdrawal.

  1. Paypal – minimum payout at $ 50
  2. Wire Transfer – minimum payout at $500
  3. Payoneer Card
  4. Skrill(MoneyBookers) – minimum payout at $ 50

Conclusion

Similarly, other Envato marketplaces work the same way too. Feel free to check them out below:
